NBA-LAWPAVILION PRIMSOL HANDHOLDING SESSIONS

Dear Colleague,

Trust this meets you well.
The Y.C Maikyau,OON,SAN led administration of the NBA recently rolled out access to the Law Pavillion Primsol Licence at no cost to young lawyers.
Already, many young lawyers have started enjoying access to the electronic law report. However, to support  members who may have complaints or enquires in respect of this service, the NBA Publicity Team in conjunction with Law Pavillion Limited has set up Training and Handholding support sessions.

The sessions began on Monday 21st November at 3pm and will continue everyday at 3pm till Thursday 24th November,2022. A similar session will hold on Friday 25th November, 2022 on NBA social media handles. Please see the attached flyer for more details. Members are encouraged to join whichever day that best suits them.

KIDNAPPED ABUJA VICTIMS RESCUED INSIDE KADUNA FOREST  Mary Akanbi 21st January, 2024 Najeeba, her sisters and their father In a joint operation, the Federal Capital Territory Police anti-kidnapping squad, in collaboration with the Nigerian Army, successfully rescued five out of the six Al-Kadriyar sisters abducted from the Bwari area of Abuja in early January. The kidnap victims from Zuma 1 area in the Bwari Area Council were rescued from the Kajuru forest in Kaduna State around 11:30 pm on Saturday, January 20, 2024. Also freed were four members of lawyer Oladosu Ariyo family, the wife and three other children, kidnapped in the Dutse area of the capital. The kidnappers killed Folashade Ariyo, a 13 year old, who was initially kidnapped with them, just as they killed one of Al-Kadriyar’s daughters, identified as Najeeba. Breaking News: Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah Dismisses NYSC's Claim of Fake Certificate Mary Akanbi 6th November, 2023 Enugu State Governor, Barrister Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, has been vindicated as the Federal High Court in Abuja dismissed allegations of discharge certificate forgery by the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). Chief Emeka Ozaoni, SAN, led a team of distinguished lawyers in defense of the governor. Representing Governor Mbah, Chief Emeka Ozaoni, SAN, along with Chris Oshomegie, SAN, and a group of eminent legal experts, emphatically refuted the NYSC's claim that they had not issued the discharge certificate to Governor Peter Mbah. Justice Inyang Eden Ekwo, in agreement with Chief Emeka Ozaoni, SAN, rejected the allegations due to the Corps' inability to substantiate their claims as required by the law.
