NBA SLP 2023 Annual Conference: FCT Courts To Close For The Conference From July 17th - 18th, 2023 Mary Akanbi 14th June, 2023 During a courtesy visit to the Chief Judge of FCT, Abuja, Hon. Justice Husseini Baba Yusuf, The Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Legal Practice (SLP), Chief Ferdinard Orbih KSG, SAN, solicited that my Lord the Chief Judge of FCT should instruct courts within the FCT not to sit during the duration of the Conference. He also informed the CJ that my Lord, is the Chief Host of the conference. Responding, the CJ accepted to host a welcome Cocktail for SLP Conferees.  My Lord the CJ Hon. Justice Husseini Baba Yusuf, bemoaned the declining professionalism among new wigs and urged the NBA to mentor the younger ones to avoid misconducts among members of the Bar and continue to re-educate its members.
