UPDATE ON 2022 ANNUAL GENERAL CONFERENCE BAGS

UPDATE ON 2022 ANNUAL GENERAL CONFERENCE BAGS
Mary Akanbi
24th November, 2022

Dear NBA- AGC 2022 Conference Delegates,

We write to provide an update regarding the delivery of conference bags to delegates of the AGC 2022 who did not collect theirs during the conference.

We appreciate that some months have passed since the end of the conference but assure you that we have been actively engaging with the vendor to deliver the outstanding conference bags. The circumstances that led to this unfortunate development are now well-known and are fully captured in the Statement issued by the then NBA President on 26th August 2022 to all members of the NBA.

Thankfully, after several engagements and exchanges with the vendor, on Saturday, 19th November 2022, we took delivery of the last consignment of the correct specifications of the conference bags, and so we can now confirm that we have taken delivery of all of the 13,000 conference bags that the NBA ordered for the conference.

Whilst apologising for all the inconveniences caused, we kindly ask that delegates who were unable to collect their conference bags during the AGC should send a copy of their duly endorsed conference registration tags, along with their photo ID, information regarding their NBA Branch and their telephone number to conference@nigerianbar.org.ng on or before Tuesday, 29th November 2022 to enable us reconcile with our records and commence distribution as promised.

We had undertaken to our conferees that all those who were in attendance physically at conference but were unable to collect their conference bags during the conference will have the bags delivered at no additional cost to them. We remain committed to completing this exercise on that basis.

Once again, we thank you for your patience, understanding, and support.

TOBENNA EROJIKWE
Chairman, NBA-AGC TCCP 2022
