As against the traditional style of mentorship where you have to learn “at the foot of your mentor”, by leveraging technological opportunities, young lawyers can access mentorship from experienced legal professionals, regardless of their location. The submit which was hosted by the Young Lawyers’ Forum (“YLF”), Effurun Branch is one of the numerous yearly programmes of the Branch’s YLF arm in pursuit of growing the legal knowledge and Practice of its members This topic gave me the opportunity to talk on the ‘Access to Finance Scheme’ put together by the Olumide Akpata Administration of which I am part of, in my capacity as the Secretary of the National Welfare Committee. It was an engaging moment for everyone. I gave my personal observation and intervention with respect to the topic and at the end of the day, it was both a give and take experience, as I learnt a lot from the interactive session. Oseme Peremene Anthony felicitates with Young Lawyers’ Forum NBA Aba Branch in respect of its two day summit. In a statement made available to lawyerwaka.com, he stated as follows: There is no gainsaying the fact that while the Old Lawyers are the foundation of the Nigerian Bar Association, the Young Lawyers are its structure; the future of the Association. The theme ‘Building a Successful Legal Career and Expanding Legal Minds: Prospects for Young Lawyers’, is absolutely instructive. I celebrate the Young Lawyers’ Forum, Aba Branch on this summit and commend them, accordingly, on the theme, which I’m sure the recommendations of the discussants
