NBA Bwari Branch Set To Hold It's 2023 Annual Law Week

The Nigerian Bar Association(NBA) Bwari Branch(Cradle Bar) specially invites you to her 2023 Annual Law Week scheduled to hold from Friday, 19th – Thursday, 24th May, 2023 with the theme : “A VIBRANT BAR; A PANACEA TOWARDS GOOD GOVERNANCE AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT.”


This year's Law Week promises to be educative and interactive.

Dr. Linus Okorie, MFR will be the keynote speaker while the Honourable Chief Judge of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory will be the Chairman of the event.

Other notable speakers scheduled to grace the event are Prof. Mike Ozekhome, SAN, renowned human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, SAN, Abubakar Malami, SAN, the Attorney General of the Federation, AbdulRasheed Bawa, Chairman, EFCC, Ordinary Ahmed Isah of Human Rights Radio and a host of others.


Activities lined up include: Jummat Service, Sports, Thanksgiving Service, Dinner/Award Night and a host of other exciting activities.

Activities marking this year's Law Week will commence as follows:

DAY 1: Friday, 19th May, 2023, Juma’at Prayer at Islamic Da’wah Central Mosque 2/2,  Behind Total Filing Station Kubwa Abuja-FCT(Within Model Islamic School Premises).

Time: 1:30pm

DAY 2: Saturday, 20th May, 2023, Sport Day.

Football Match Between Young Lawyers And Senior Lawyers at Public Service Institute Football Ground, Kubwa Expressway, Abuja, FCT.

Time: 3pm

DAY 3: Sunday, 21st May, 2023. Thanksgiving Service

Annual Thanksgiving Service at the Gospel of Faith Inter’l (Arena of Grace), Plot 6, Bensal Plaza, Hamza Abdullahi Road, off Gado Nasko Road, Kubwa Abuja, FCT.

 Time: 10:00 am

DAY 4: Monday, 22nd May, 2023. Opening Ceremony/Showcase Session.

Venue: Gadis Event Centre, Opposite  Government  Girls Secondary School, Dutse Abuja- FCT.

Discourse: “A VIBRANT BAR; A PANACEA TOWARDS GOOD GOVERNANCE AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT.” 

DAY 5: Tuesday, 23rd May, 2023.

The Chairman of the Law Week Committee, Paul Daudu has promised that this year’s edition of the NBA Bwari Branch will surpass the successes of the 2022 edition of the Law Week.
