Oaikhena Osagie KSP, a Benin based Legal Practitioner, have sent his goodwill message to the entire members of the Asaba Branch of the NBA. The legal practitioner in his words said " I must commend the Precious Nwadimuya Esq, led Executive, for moving the Asaba Branch forward in uncommon progress , I have no doubt whatsoever that important resolutions affecting the Bar and the state of Nigeria will be made. I also commend the Elders of the Branch for carrying everyone along. I wish the entire members of Asaba Branch, Perpetual peace and prosperity as they take the Branch forward. To help in the choice of service in the Standing or Ad-hoc Committees, below are functions/duties of some of the Standing Committees: *Standing Committees:* *Electoral Committee:* a. shall consist of five members; b. shall conduct the election of officers of the Branch on a date in the month of June of an election year as the Branch Executive Committee may determine and shall, inter alia, undertake due publicity for the elections and nominations thereto, the printing of ballot papers and compilation of the list of eligible candidates and voters. *Continuing Legal Education Committee:* a. shall be responsible for the promotion and advancement of legal education, advocacy and jurisprudence, and liaise with the Association on these matters as and when necessary; b. shall organize seminars, workshops, symposia, conferences and promote legal publications including Law Reports. *Welfare Committee:* a. shall administer a Welfare Scheme which shall be established...
